Easy Banking App

With tablets and smartphones making their entry in our daily lives, people are switching from a single ‘click’ towards a ‘swipe’ or ‘touch’ ever more than before. Driven by this evolution in user experience, BNP Paribas Fortis wanted to tap into this consumer need by offering its e-banking services to its clients via an intuitive iPad and iPhone application.

Our challenge consisted in creating a relevant and user friendly native application that allowed BNP Paribas Fortis clients to check and manage their bank account anywhere, anytime and anyhow they’d like.

A well thought out integration of strategy, information architecture and design resulted in a clever and user-friendly app on which BNP Paribas Fortis clients can:

• check, glance, touch and swipe through their bank accounts;
• easily compare their earnings with their expenses through a visually, clarifying time graph;
• quickly transfer money via an online bank wire;
• add a user profile if multiple family members make use of this service
• find the answers on most common banking questions.

Simply download the Easy Banking app via the iTunes store and activate it via your BNP Paribas Fortis PC-banking account. Log in via your card reader or by text message and swipe away! Android users will have to be a bit more patient; the Easy Banking app will be available on Android later this year.
