Website Redesign

In February 2008, consumer electronics manufacturer Pioneer commissioned These Days to redesign their customer websites, bringing them in line with the company’s revised strategic vision and changing customer needs.

As part of a phased approach, we established a steering group of all Pioneer stakeholders, both from the European headquarters, as well as from local offices across Europe. Several collaborative workshops later, a website vision and scope document was agreed, and a high level information and interaction architecture was presented.

Early stage design proposals were then developed, followed by a series of detailed usability tests and an online survey. Once the final iteration was completed, detailed information architecture and design began.

Within just a few weeks of the redesign going live in 18 countries across Europe, key KPIs improved drastically, setting the trend for future development. The project set a benchmark in conducting a phased, iterative website design project.
