The art website received nominations in the Best Use Of Photography, Best Use Of Video or Moving Image and NetArt categories.
The Protect 7-7 project also received the Official Honoree title in the categories Art and Self-Promotion/Portfolio. With this honor, the Webby Awards distinguish those projects that excel and show an outstanding caliber of work.
The Webby Awards began in 1996, awarding only the best online projects. It is the leading international award and one of the most significant awards an online agency can receive. The ‘Webbys’ are presented by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a 550-member body of leading Web experts, business figures, luminaries, visionaries and creative celebrities. The 12th Annual Webby Awards received nearly 10,000 entries from over 60 countries.
