At the recent American IAC Awards, These Days received 3 awards for:
- The Protect 7-7 website received the award for Best Arts Website,
- the Sandy Hourglass campaign for Intel was awarded for Outstanding Rich Media Online and
- the McGuider campaign for TeleAtlas received the award for Outstanding Website.
The Protect 7-7 website was launched to support the art project of Belgian artist Wim Tellier. The website serves as a virtual gallery for the exposition, which covers an astounding 4800m².
The Sandy Hourglass-campaign was created to promote Intel’s new Centrino 2 processor. Without using any media budget, the online movie got over 400.000 views.
Finally, the McGuider-campaign was built around the McGuider SD Card, a co-operation between TeleAtlas and Sygic that makes it possible to turn every mobile phone into a navigational system. The campaign had a conversion rate of 15% and an opt-in ratio of 63%.
The IAC Awards are organized every year in the United States by the Web Marketing Association and reward the most creative campaigns on an international level.
